DESCRIPTION:Come join the fun with holiday crafts!\nReservations at 415-383-2774 or email at mjmckown@gmail.com. \nMae Harms writes in the November 2014 TRAILS: Mary Jane McKown and I just finished a great get away crafting weekend (September 26 – 28) at Alpine Lodge. We have scheduled our next one for November 7-9. \nThe focus is crafting of every type. The tables will be ready for setting up to spread out your supplies for projects you bring to work on or to join in with some of the supplies available at the lodge. The fun of it is making progress on our own projects\, learning new ones and sharing with others. \nOur getaway weekend isn’t limited to crafts. Curl up for lots of time with a good book\, sketching or painting off the back deck\, napping\, and conversations with a friend you came with or a new friend you make at the lodge. The hiking trails are as close as across the street to Muir Woods. The lodge can be the starting point to San Francisco and its many activities. \nBecause this is a hosted event there will be no spontaneous overnights\, but if that is what you need just schedule it with Mary Jane or even as late as when our weekend is in progress by phoning us at the lodge (415-380-8250) and we will let you know if we have a room or a bed available. \nWe don’t supply meals. Please bring your own food. The stoves and refrigerators are available for your use. \nPlease reserve with Mary Jane McKown by phone (415-383- 2774) or by emailing her (mjmckown@gmail.com) Last time we had nearly a full house. \nThe day fee for members is $3 Overnight is $21.\nAssociate member fees (non-members) are $6 and $31. \nWe look forward to getting together with you. You will hate to leave when that time arrives!
