Come dressed in green and ready to savor Irish-themed entertainment and victuals! We particularly invite new members to join us for a great party!\nLight appetizers will be served starting at 3:30pm with an optional whisky tasting out on the deck (weather permitting!) We will have a wonderful Happy Hour performance from a trio of traditional musicians including Colm O’Riain\, award-winning violinist\, Richard Mandel (guitar) & Elizabeth Roddy (flute\, vocals).\n\nChef Tim Warden will be serving up a traditional St. Patrick’s Day Dinner at 5.00pm. with the best corned beef and cabbage to be found in the Bay Area! We will also have a delicious vegetarian terrine option! The dinner will include an appetizer and tasty dessert.\n\nParty tickets\, which cover the meal and entertainment\, are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Seating is limited to 60 persons\, who must be vaccinated and boosted and meet Alpine Lodge Covid protocols. Please remember to bring your vaccination cards or digital proof of same as these will be checked at the door.\n\nIf there is interest\, overnights may be available for a Saturday overnight stay for $26 per adult member/$36 per non-member\, per night.\nVolunteers are needed to assist with room set-up and decoration\, kitchen assistance and serving\, supplying an appetizer\, parking and transportation\, post-event clean up and overnight hosting. Many hands make light work! DESCRIPTION:MIDWEEK HIKING ADVENTURE AT ALPINE\n\nWe are hosting a midweek hiking adventure at Alpine Lodge for 15 members and friends for three days and two nights from Tuesday 3/15 through Thursday 3/17. Eat Drink and hike….when you arrive on Tuesday @ 2:00\, we will hike down to Muir Woods and back up to the lodge. Hors d’oeuvres and dinner will be served thereafter.\n\nAfter breakfast on Wednesday\, we will circumambulate Mt Tam (it’s 10.5 miles but modest in elevation gain at approximately 400 ft). Eating lunch on the top of East Peak… Thereafter having food and libations upon our return to Alpine on Wednesday.\n\nAfter our morning ablutions and breakfast\, on Thursday\, we drive up to and park at Pantoll\, hike to Stinson Beach\, and\, after lunch\, take the Dipsea trail up to the magical Steep Ravine trail and then up the Steep Ravine to our cars at Pantoll. (If you don’t want to do the entire hike\, you can stay at Stinson Beach and we can pick you up after we return to our cars at Pantoll).\n\nWe are hosting two breakfasts & two lunches (Wed/Thurs) and two dinners (Tues/Wed) for a cost of $125 for CAC members\, $150 for non-members. Please provide any food restrictions. We will be limiting numbers to 15. Bad weather cancels the trip. Remember to bring your own sheets and towels.
