Suggestions: choose from a salad\, stuffing\, sweet potatoes\, mashed potatoes\, a vegetable such as brussels sprouts\, perhaps string beans\, or a pie. \nPumpkin\, apple\, pecan are traditional. Hors d’oeuvres will also be needed. \nCome alone\, with friends or family. BYOB or donate to the Club bar. Cost of the feast is $15. DESCRIPTION:Members are invited to join the Fall host Training at Alpine Lodge.  Beginning at 4pm on Friday 11/11 the training will cover information about the club and how to use the lodge for overnight stays with other members and guests.  Training materials can be shared electronically\, so laptops and tables are encouraged.  Trustees will prepare meals\, and w3ill complete the training by 3pm on Saturday 11/12\, at which time newly trained hosts can stay the night if they wish.  Training fee is $25 per member\, additional $5 for a paper copy of the manual. \n  \nContact Donata Mikulik donatabo@hotmail.com and Tom Coleman travmcgee@comcast.net if you’d like to attend.  Overnights are encouraged\, but attendance may require shared rooms and can change up until arrival at the training.

DESCRIPTION:Burgers\, Brats ‘n BYOB\nOctober Full-Moon Quarterly dinner\nAll members are invited to the harvest full-moon dinner after the quarterly CAC membership meeting on Saturday\, October 15\, 2016. Chef Ken Judy and staff will prepare black bean burgers\, brats\, salads and all the fixings for your enjoyment. CAC is blessed to have many wonderful bakers. Dessert will be a buffet of home-made pies baked and donated by CAC members. A quorum of 30 members attending the membership meeting is needed so please plan to come and support your club.  Bring your favorite full-moon story\, BYOB\, pie\, and join us for an evening of merriment. Dinner will begin at 5:30pm.\n\nCandy Barnhill will take reservations\, call 319-631-9110 or email her at Wheejeepfun_cb@aol.com by Thursday October 13. Cost is $18 for members. Send your check made out to: Candy Barnhill\, PO Box 753\, Ashland\, OR 97520. This event is usually a sell-out so don’t delay. Reservations after October 13 will be $20. Tony Smith will be the overnight host.\n\nHelping hands are needed to help with dinner prep\, serving\, room set-up/tear-down\, kitchen tidy-up\, and a quick spiff-up of the lodge before we head out on an optional full moon hike.
