DESCRIPTION:St. Patrick’s Day Hooley and Musical Event\, Saturday\, March 18\, 2023 \n3.30pm-7.30pm – Reserve your spot \nWe are hosting our Annual St. Patrick’s Day Hooley* on Saturday\, March 18\, 2023. Come dressed in emerald green and ready to savor Irish-themed entertainment and victuals! We particularly invite new members to join us for a great party! \n  \nLight appetizers will be served starting at 3:30pm with an optional whisky tasting out on the deck (weather permitting!) We will have a wonderful Happy Hour performance from Irish traditional musicians. \n  \nChef Tim Warden will be serving up the best of St. Patrick’s Day corned beef for dinner at 5.00pm. We will also have a delicious vegetarian lasagna option! The dinner will include an appetizer and tasty dessert – Nuala Caulfield’s Shamrock pies! \nParty tickets\, which cover the meal and entertainment\, are $30 for members and $40 for non-members (includes $10 associate membership). Seating is limited to 60 persons\, who must be vaccinated and boosted. If there is interest\, overnights may be available for a Saturday overnight stay for $26 per adult member/$36 per non-member\, per night. \n  \nVolunteers are needed to assist with table set up (day before the event)\, appetizer donations\, parking support\, post-dinner clean up and overnight hosting. Many hands make light work!  Consider this for your annual volunteer commitment. This year’s hosts will be Chef Tim Warden and Outings Co-chairs Renée Hamilton and Ernie Castiaux. \nSaturday\, December 9 \n5:00 p.m. – Happy Hour \n6:00 p.m. – Dinner Served \nWe are now looking for volunteers for the following positions: \n* Reception/welcome greeter & name tags \n* Refreshments bar host \n* Table set-up and room preparation \n* Clear dinner plates plus serve and clear dessert plates \n* Take down and put away tables and chairs in the social hall \n* Kitchen and dishwashing help \n* General lodge cleanup \nWe would also appreciate 10 light appetizers for our happy hour. \nIf you would like to volunteer for any of these requests\, please email Rani Devadasen at putri0525@aol.com. \nThis is where it changes: \nThe cost of this year’s event is $40/person.
