DESCRIPTION:Tim & Jay \njaygustafson@yahoo.com \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/cac-independence-weekend-july-3-and-4-2021-tickets-154134549587 \nFinally – a chance to hike and socialize afta !\nCome on up to the Alpine Club Lodge for July 4th Weekend for our first social gathering in 18 +/- months since the pandemic shut us down!\nNOTE: You and your guests (up to 2) must be vaccinated to attend this lodge event. Please bring your vaccination card or a photo of it on your phone to present. \nYou may choose either Saturday July 3 or Sunday July 4\, and reserve a place for you and your guests. The club will provide the BBQ/soft-drinks and you bring the potluck. \nRSVP by registering here no later than July 1st. \nCome up after 9:00 AM for a “leaderless” hike. Create one with whomever is showing up! The hikes will be followed by a festive 4th of July celebration both Saturday and Sunday. \nIf you don’t want to hike\, just plan to come up for the BBQ at 2PM which we will prepare (Fish\, meat and veggie options). You choose to bring an appetizer\, Salad or Dessert to serve 6-8. As you register we ask that you choose your dish to bring. \nSchedule\n\n9:00 AM – Leaderless hikes begin\n12:00 PM – social hour and appetizers\n1:00 – 3:00 PM – BBQ\n3:00 – 5:00 PM – Cleanup\n\nAs you know parking is limited so we ask that you carpool if possible and drop off guests and food and plan to park beyond the Mt. Home Inn\, just below the firehouse. \nIt will be BYOB or donate to the bar as it will be open for service (we will have soft drinks for all). \nWe need volunteers to help setup and cleanup (a CAC tradition). Please volunteer when you register for one of the days here. \nCLICK on the red ‘SELECT a DATE ‘ box on this page above to register or click here. \nDONATIONS to the Alpine Lodge Capital Projects Fund will be welcome and encouraged.
