SUMMARY:Alpine: Host Training (DM)
DESCRIPTION:Members are invited to join the Fall host Training at Alpine Lodge.  Beginning at 4pm on Friday 11/11 the training will cover information about the club and how to use the lodge for overnight stays with other members and guests.  Training materials can be shared electronically\, so laptops and tables are encouraged.  Trustees will prepare meals\, and w3ill complete the training by 3pm on Saturday 11/12\, at which time newly trained hosts can stay the night if they wish.  Training fee is $25 per member\, additional $5 for a paper copy of the manual. \n  \nContact Donata Mikulik donatabo@hotmail.com and Tom Coleman travmcgee@comcast.net if you’d like to attend.  Overnights are encouraged\, but attendance may require shared rooms and can change up until arrival at the training.

This is a wonderful Alpine tradition at which we all become extended family. Happy hour begins at 4 pm. Dinner will be served at 5pm. Eva Libien will be your host. We will supply the turkey and gravy\, you supply a complementing dish to share for 6\, and a little help with set up and clean up. Suggestions: choose from a salad\, stuffing\, sweet potatoes\, mashed potatoes\, a vegetable such as brussels sprouts\, perhaps string beans\, or a pie. \nPumpkin\, apple\, pecan are traditional. Hors d’oeuvres will also be needed. \nCome alone\, with friends or family. BYOB or donate to the Club bar. Cost of the feast is $15. Please make your check out to Eva Libien and send it to her at 2 Eucalyptus Knolls Street.\, Mill Valley\, 94941. If you need more information\, call Eva at 415-383-5184 or email her at elibien@yahoo.com. Also\, include a note with the check to let her know the dish you will bring. This is very important so that we don’t have too much of one dish. Absolute last day for sign-ups is November 19. Maximum attendance is limited to 30 so it’s best to sign-up early. \nImportant: We will need a volunteer in charge of kitchen clean up. Please email or call Eva if you can help.
