DESCRIPTION:Schools are out in most areas by Saturday\, June 13 and you’re invited to bring your grandchildren or great-grandchildren for a day\, and up to a week of lodging and daily activities. Join other grandparents on trips to the Marine Mammal Center at Rodeo Beach. We’ll be taking the Tiburon ferry to Angel Island one day for a hike and picnic on the largest island in the San Francisco Bay. \nWe’ll pack a lunch and visit the East Peak of Mt. Tamalpais stopping in at the Gravity Car Visitor Center before taking a short hike and explore the fire lookout. We’ll save one day to spend at the beach and maybe fly kites. We’re keeping our eye on the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy calendar and will likely join them one day for an exciting outing. We’ll enjoy karaoke\, games\, and exciting activities each evening. Fresh baked cookies\, hide and seek\, ping pong and other activities will make the time fly while providing you and your grandchildren quality memories. We’ll have story time before the children say good night and adults can share some quiet time. \nWe’ve found children entertain each other and with a little supervision\, families will bond with fond memories of time spent at the Alpine Lodge.
